Can guests send photos (MMS)?

Guests can text photos, and Rezi keeps them with the conversation so you get clear context.

Yes. Guests can send photos by text (MMS), which is especially useful when something goes wrong, a picture of a leak or a broken appliance tells you far more than a description.

Photos close the gap between what guests say and what’s actually happening. “The sink is broken” could be a loose handle or a flooded cabinet; the photo settles it instantly. When Rezi alerts you to an urgent issue, the photo rides along with the alert so you arrive at the situation already knowing what you’re dealing with.

How photos help

  • Rezi can ask for a photo when a guest reports something urgent
  • Photos are attached to the alert so you see them when Rezi flags the issue
  • Images are stored with the conversation for your records

The asking is automatic and judicious: for visual issues, a leak, damage, a broken fixture, Rezi requests a photo as part of its clarifying questions; for non-visual issues like a beeping detector or a noise complaint, it doesn’t bother the guest for one. Guests can also just send photos unprompted, and Rezi folds them into the conversation context.

Beyond urgent issues

Photos earn their keep in other corners too. Guests send pictures when something isn’t where the house manual says it should be. Checkout documentation, the state of the place, the keys on the counter, lands in the thread with a timestamp, attached to the guest’s record. A guest might send a screenshot of your listing to confirm they’re asking about the right place. Everything arrives in the same conversation history, searchable later from the Interactions view.

You can send images outbound as well, a map of the guest parking, a photo of where the water shutoff is, a screenshot of the assembly instructions for the fold-out couch. For recurring visual answers, it’s often even better to describe the location in the knowledge base so the AI can answer in words instantly.

Carrier limits apply

Very large images may be compressed by the carrier, but they still come through clearly enough to assess most issues.

Can guests send videos?
Short clips within carrier MMS size limits generally come through; longer videos may fail or compress heavily. For anything substantial, a photo series usually works better.
Does the AI actually look at the photos?
Photos are attached to the conversation for your eyes when Rezi alerts you. The AI’s read of the situation runs primarily on the conversation, with photos as supporting evidence for whoever handles it.
How long are photos kept?
They’re stored with the conversation history, retained like the rest of your records, see how long is data kept.
Do photos work from international numbers?
MMS support varies by country and carrier, US and Canadian numbers are reliable; elsewhere is hit-or-miss. See texting international guests.
