Configuring business hours
Set your operating hours so Rezi knows when to deliver real-time notifications and when to hold them until morning.
Business hours in Rezi define when your team is actively available to respond to guests. They affect notification delivery (held vs. real-time), the morning briefing trigger, and how after-hours messages are queued. Setting them accurately ensures your team gets actionable alerts during the day without being woken up by routine notifications at midnight.
Setting your hours
- 1
Go to Settings > Business Hours
- 2
Toggle each day of the week on or off
- 3
Set open and close times for each active day
- 4
Save, the AI and notification system immediately use these hours
Business hours can be different on different days. A hosting operation might answer Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 10am-2pm, with Sunday closed. Configure each day independently to match your actual schedule. Half-days and irregular hours are supported.
Holiday closures
For holiday closures, mark specific dates as closed in Settings > Business Hours > Holiday overrides. On holiday dates, Rezi treats the day as outside business hours regardless of whether it falls on a normally open day. Add holidays at the start of each year so the system is prepared in advance.
What business hours affect
- Team notifications: routine notifications (new lead, payment received) are held after-hours and sent as a morning briefing
- Morning briefing: sent to on-call and assigned team members at the start of each business day
- After-hours lead handling: new leads that come in after hours are handled by AI and queued for team review at the start of the next business day
- Emergency escalations: NOT affected, these go through regardless of business hours
Business hours are account-wide, not per-building. If you manage properties across multiple time zones, set your hours to your primary operations time zone. Per-building time zone support is planned for future development.
